Q: What is Botox? What is Dysport?
A: Both Botox and Dysport work to relax the muscles that cause wrinkles. When injected into the facial muscles, your face will appear smoother, less wrinkled, and more youthful.
Q: What are dermal fillers?
A: Dermal fillers are made of hyaluronic acid, which is a natural substance that hydrates, plumps, and softens the face. These can be used to replace volume in the face; as we age, we lose volume in the face, often making us look older. Dermal fillers help to fill in this volume, creating a more youthful, refreshed appearance.
Q: When will I see results from Botox or Dysport?
A: Results could begin to show at 3 days after treatment, however it takes about 2 weeks to see the full effect of wrinkle relaxers.
Q: When will I see results from my filler?
A: Results will be visible immediately. Most people experience swelling and may experience some redness or bruising immediately after the treatment. However, it will take about 2 weeks to see the final result.
Q: What is the recovery time for Botox?
A: There is no recovery time. Other than very small injection-site marks, no one will know you've had a treatment. Many clients have this done on their lunch break and return to work immediately afterward.
Q: What is the recovery time for fillers?
A: Most people appear swollen and/or bruised after filler treatment. This will improve over the next 3-7 days, depending on the area that was injected and the amount of filler injected. The filler will then settle, taking about 2 weeks before the final results show. We recommend scheduling filler several weeks prior to a big event.


After Care
After your Botox Treatment:

No exercise for at least 24 hours

Keep head upright for at least 4 hours

Do not massage the treated area
-
No hats, headbands, or anything else around the treated area
-
Avoid aspirin and NSAIDs for 2 days; you may use Tylenol for soreness if needed

Keep treated area clean and free of make-up for the rest of the day after a treatment
-
No alcohol for 2 days after treatment
-
No facials, massage, or other activities that involve direct pressure on the face for at least 2 days after treatment
After your Dermal Filler Treatment:
-
No exercise for at least 48 hours
-
Do not massage the treated area unless instructed by your injector
-
No heat, hot showers or long periods of sun exposure for 2 days after treatment
-
No alcohol for 2 days after treatment
-
Avoid aspirin and NSAIDs for 2 days; you may use Tylenol for soreness if needed
-
Keep treated area clean and free of make-up for 2 days after treatment
-
No dental work for 2 weeks after treatment
-
No facials, massage, or other activities that involve direct pressure on the face for at least 2 days after treatment

You may use an ice pack to relieve swelling, but be sure to apply it lightly. Filler can move after it is first injected; it is best to keep it where your injector intended for it to be place.


Caution
Neuromodulators and Dermal Fillers are NOT for patients who are:

Pregnant

Under the Age of 18

Experiencing an active skin infection, such as HSV outbreak on lips

Using immosuppresive therapy

Experiencing severe allergies, or have any history of anaphylaxis


Policies
Cancellation/No Show Policy:
In an effort to respect your injector's time, we ask that all cancellations are made at least 48 hours prior to your appointment.
If you no-show for an appointment more than 2x, we will not be able to book you another appointment.
Appointment Policy:
If you arrive late, you are depriving yourself of your treatment time. Please try to arrive on time for your appointment. If you are more than 10 mins late, you will most likely be asked to reschedule your appointment.
Refund Policy:
We do not offer refunds on services or on retail products.
Children and Pets Policy:
As much as we love children and pets, we ask that you please refrain from bringing them to our healthcare facility with you for your appointment. This will ensure the safety of both you and your child, and ensure that every guest at our facility is able to have a truly relaxing experience.
